GARKON : INSULATION CLASS 'H'
Polycom's GARKON
composites are a Nomex® paper laminated on either side of Kapton® film.
The lamination is achieved through high quality adhesive. The excellent
Mechanical, Thermal & Electrical values are complimented with the
very good chemical & Thermal properties. Polycom's GARKON are
produced in various combination.
PRODUCT DETAILS:
GARKON NKN/NK are produced in various thickness by different Polyimide film or Aramide paper thickness.
ADVANTAGES:
GARKON composites have very good dielectric, Mechanical and Thermal properties with excellent chemical properties.
The Kapton® film ensures high dielectric strength at high temperatures.
Good impregnating resin absorption.
Suitable to automatic insertion.
Polyimide film has no melting point.
Aramide layers protects the Polyimide film from chemical & mechanical damage.
Subject to longer Thermal overloads in electric machines.
APPLICATIONS:
GARKON NKN/NK
composites are used in electrical motors. Alternators and equipment of
Class 'H' as slot liners, phase insulation, interlayer insulation,
conductor insulation wedges whenever severe Thermal & Electrical
overloads resistance are basic need.
QUALITY CONTROL:
At our works
quality is top priority, Polycom's laminates are manufactured with the
help of the latest machinery. Our Engineers ensure that products live
upto the specification. Tensile strength, elongation & BDV tests
are the part of the standard checks.
